Dr. Vodder trained therapist Sung Joong Kim, PhD, PT of South Korea has recently had his research on the effects of MLD on cardiac autonomic tone published. In conclussion, Kim states; "These results suggest that MLD could help reduce stress and improve autonomic function by increasing HRV (heart rate variability) and parasympathetic activity."
Therapists trained by the Dr. Vodder School learn the original method of Manual Lymph Drainage and we develop highly skilled therapists in our 4-week training program (www.vodderschool.com). The results of his research are an affirmation of the quality skills our therapists develop.
